ELIGIBILITY

All Barristers, seven years plus

JUDGING CRITERIA

-Demonstrable quality of service: successful lease extensions/collective enfranchisement / right to manage applications handled
– Profile of notable case (within the last 12 months)
– Specific challenges that were met and overcome
– Depth of applied knowledge and expertise
– Excellence in client communications
– New instructions; marketing of and innovation in enfranchisement
– Professional development and leadership skills
– Entries must be made or supported by client testimonial(s)

 

 


JUNIOR BARRISTER OF THE YEAR
*This is an award category for an INDIVIDUAL
Who should enter:  Barristers who act for freeholders and / or leaseholders in enfranchisement and / or right to manage matters.

ELIGIBILITY
Barristers up to seven years’ call

JUDGING CRITERIA

-Demonstrable quality of service: successful lease extensions/collective enfranchisement / right to manage applications handled
– Profile of notable case (within the last 12 months)

– Depth of applied knowledge and expertise
– Excellence in client communications

CHAMBERS OF THE YEAR
*This is an award category for an COMPANY/ORGANISATION
Who should enter: Chambers who act for freeholders and / or leaseholders in enfranchisement and / or right to manage matters, including service charge issues.

ELIGIBILITY
All Chambers.

PRACTICE MANAGER OF THE YEAR 
*This is an award category for an INDIVIDUAL
Who should enter: Individuals who are responsible for the management and development of a Chambers, Solicitors or Valuers in enfranchisement and/or right to manage matters.

ELIGIBILITY
Practice Manager / Clerk

JUDGING CRITERIA

– Strategic development of business over the last 12 months
– Quality of marketing, innovation and business development for Chambers
– Excellence in client communication and retention
– Management of fee negotiation
– Management of diary and distribution of work
– Development of Practice Management team
– Entries must be made or supported by client testimonial(s)

 


SOLICITOR OF THE YEAR

Who should enter:  
Individual Solicitors who act for for freeholders and / or leaseholders in enfranchisement and / or right to manage matters.

– Depth of applied knowledge and expertise (evidence of continued professional learning)
– Excellence in client communications
– New instructions: marketing of and innovation in enfranchisement

LONDON SOLICITORS FIRM OF THE YEAR
